The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing night Cream Review
The Body shop is one of my Favorite brands when it comes to skin care and body butters and body mists and...well who am i kidding , i love everything from the body shop.(haha)
Whenever The body shop introduces a new range of products i will be there in the store to check out the products as soon as i get to know.:)So today iam going to review the body shop vitamin E nourishing night cream,i have been using this for more than two months,so keep on reading to know my take on the product.
Product claims:
With rich wheat germ oil to replenish and revitalize skin while you snooze. A rich, nourishing cream that helps replenish antioxidant and moisture levels overnight, when the skin is at its most receptive. It leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.
Night is an excellent time for our Vitamin E Night Cream because your skin can use it more effectively to fight free radicals while you sleep. Free radicals are unstable molecules that attack healthy cells in search of a needed electron. Once the healthy cell has been attacked, it loses an electron to the free radical, becoming an unstable radical itself and setting off a chain reaction. This damage leads to premature aging and disease. Antioxidants, such as vitamin E, neutralize free radicals by providing them with the needed electron and preventing them from harming healthy cells.

Availability-Easily available online as well as in The body shop outlets.
My Experience :
The cream comes in a beautiful pink jar tub packaging and it has a white plastic lid in order to protect the cream from messing up the cap. Iam not a great fan of the packaging because i have to dip my hands in the cream every time and i find it quite unhygienic, but i love the color of the packaging(obviously we girls love anything to do with pink).
The cream has a very pleasant smell, which is very relaxing. The cream is light pink in color and has a very thick and creamy consistency.Though it has a thick texture it blends very beautifully on to the skin and does not make your face greasy .A very little amount is needed and the cream will last you for a long time.

I have been using this for more than two months now,i use it every night and i wake up with my skin feeling so smooth and glowing.Though the cream is thick, it moisturizes the skin very well and my skin feels very hydrated and supple.Regular usage of this cream has really improved the texture of my skin a lot.Dry to normal/combination skin beauties are going to love this, iam not sure if its going to suit oily skinned beauties because of is thick consistency.
Pros:
- Contains Vitamin E ,cocoa butter, wheat germ oil and glycerin which has many skin benefits
- Makes the skin hydrated soft and glowing
- Small amount is needed for the whole face and neck
- The texture is thick but does not feel greasy on the skin
- Has a very pleasant smell
Cons:
- Contains parabens
- Tub packaging
- May not suit oily skinned beauties
- If you slather too much your skin might look greasy,(so a pea sized amount is required)
Rating:4/5
Overall i like this product as it really moisturizes and makes my skin soft and supple,i also love the pleasant smell of the cream and it works very well during the winters when your skin needs that extra moisture and care.
